You may be aware of the terms ‘Green Build’, ‘Ecohomes’, ‘Code for Sustainable Homes’, or other similar variations. You may have wondered what it’s all about. The Code means that there is now an obligation to reconsider the ways in which a building is designed. With all the different materials and product choices available it can be difficult, and sometimes confusing, to choose the right product for your building. This is where Timber Frame steps in. The I beam system is very similar to the one shown above, one major difference being that the timber frame studs are replaced with an I beam.
