The timber soleplates are fixed to the prel-laid slabs ready to accept the timber frame

Day One- Sole plates in place, panels delivered to site.

The closed panel structure is craned into place and fixed using framing ties.

Day One- External panels being erected. 200mm engineered studs, closed panel system pre drilled for site injected Warmcell insulation.

The internal ground floor timber frame panels are stood and the engineered ( press web joists ) floors are craned into place.

Day Two- Ground floor wall panels in place and floor cassettes being craned into place. The Eco joist system constructed into floor cassettes enhances the erection speed and also allows ducting for heat recovery systems to travel in any direction.

The first floor structure is erected an the roof structure is craned in. The roof is constructed using pre-manufactured cassettes consisting of i- beam joists and timber decking.

Day four- First floor walls in place and engineered roof cassettes being craned into place. The roof cassettes are constructed from 300mm I- beams with ply to both sides to allow 'warmcell ' insulation to be site injected.

The timber frame structure is completed and all other trades commence.

Day Six- Roofers Commencing with felt battens. All following trades can commence both inside and out.

The Completed Project...

The finished eco house was completed to a crisp and contemporary specification. Creating an ECO home which can only be achieved using timber framing methods.

Completed Project- Cedar Cladding to the south west elevation. The structure required extensive engineering detail to achieve clerestry window above the low level roof line.
